If you confirm that you would like to receive the newsletter, we will store your email address until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Only your e-mail address is required to send the newsletter. Further details are voluntary, marked accordingly and will only be used to personalise the newsletter. Upon revocation, this data will also be completely deleted.
You can revoke your consent to receive our newsletter at any time. The revocation can be made by clicking on the link contained in the newsletter, , or by sending a message to the contact details provided in section I.2. The data you provide will not be passed on to third parties. Your consent has the following wording:
YES, I consent to receive a newsletter tailored to my personal interests. Personalisation is achieved by evaluating my user behaviour with the help of web beacons (tracking pixels) and your email address, which can be linked to an individual identifier. We record when you read our newsletter, which links you click on, and infer your potential personal interests. This information is linked to actions you take on our website. We do not combine this information with other information and only store it in Brazil. You can revoke this consent at any time, whereupon the user data collected from you will be deleted.

We hereby inform you that your user behaviour is evaluated when you receive our newsletter. For this purpose, the e-mails we sent contain so-called web beacons ("tracking pixels"). These are single-pixel image files that are linked to our website. This enables us to evaluate your user behaviour, which is done by collecting the data mentioned in point IV. of this data protection declaration and web beacons assigned to your e-mail address, which are linked to your individual identifier. From the data obtained in this way, we create a user profile which allows us to provide you with a newsletter containing content that is tailored to your interests. In this context, we record the time you read the newsletter, which links you click on, and draw conclusions about your personal interests. We also link this data to your actions on our website. Information that we collect in this way is stored by REMA on a server in Brazil. You can object to this tracking at any time via the link contained in every e-mail or via the contact options mentioned in paragraph 3.

16. Web-tracking; use of Google Analytics
This website uses the web analysis service Google Analytics from Google Inc. Google Analytics uses certain text files, so-called "cookies", which are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. Google uses this information on behalf of REMA-TIP TOP to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on your activity on the website and to provide other services for REMA-TIP TOP in connection with the use of the website and the internet.
The IP address transmitted by Google Analytics from your browser will not be merged with other Google data.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser configuration accordingly; however, you may then not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.
Furthermore, you can object to the collection of your website usage and the data generated via cookies (incl. IP address) and their processing by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
This website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()". This extension shortens IP addresses before further processing, which excludes the direct linkability with individual persons.
Google Analytics is used within the legal framework agreed for the use of the software by the German data protection authorities in cooperation with Google. Contact details of the third party provider: Google Dublin, Google Ireland Ltd, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, Fax: +353 (1) 436 1001. 17. Social Media Plug-ins
We currently use the following social media plug-ins:
In this context, we use the so-called 2-click solution. When you visit our site, no personal data is transmitted via these plug-ins. The plug-ins are marked with the initial letters of the respective providers and only when you click on one of these plug-ins will data be transmitted that can be linked to your person. After clicking on the plug-in, the data is automatically forwarded to the corresponding provider and stored there (in the case of US providers, on servers in the USA). We have no influence on the collected data and processing procedures. Furthermore, we are not aware of the scope or purpose of the data collection and the storage periods. The data collection of the plug-in providers takes place primarily via cookies. Before clicking on the corresponding plug-in, you should therefore remove all cookies via the security settings of your browser.
After activating a plug-in, its provider will be informed about your visit to the corresponding sub-page on our website. Furthermore, the data mentioned in section IV. of this data protection declaration will be transmitted. With Facebook, according to company information in Brazil, only the anonymised IP address is transmitted. The transmission is not dependent on whether you have an account with the corresponding plug-in provider or are logged in there. If this is the case, the transmitted data is directly linked to your account. Likewise, when you click on the plug-in button (for example, when you link to the page), this information is also stored and assigned to your user account. Your contacts will be informed of this publicly. To prevent your profile from being assigned to you at the corresponding plug-in provider, you must log out there before activating the button.
This data is stored by the plug-in provider as usage profiles and used for marketing purposes, market research and/or website design. This evaluation is carried out in particular (also for users who are not logged in) for the purpose of personalised marketing and to inform other users of the corresponding page about your visit to our website. You can object to the creation of such user profiles with the respective plug-in provider.
For information regarding the purpose(s) for which and the extent to which your data is collected and processed by the plug-in provider, please refer to the data protection statements of the individual providers, which you will find below. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your enquiry). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

20. Changes to the privacy policy
This data protection declaration may be adapted or changed by REMA TIP TOP at any time without prior notice or notification. The version published on the website rematiptop.com.br is current and valid.

If the privacy policy is part of an agreement with users or other persons, they will be informed of the change by e-mail or other suitable means by REMA TIP TOP when it is updated. If no objection is made within 30 days, the new privacy policy shall be regarded as agreed upon. In the event of an objection, REMA TIP TOP has the right to terminate the agreement extraordinarily and without notice, in whole or in part, or to restrict or adjust the services provided to the data subject in order to respond appropriately to the refusal to consent.
